Our Community Support

Our company has always supported Canterbury with the main focus on help groups with lots of volunteer workers and maybe one or 2 paid staff that organise them.

We support

  • DELTA COMMUNITY TRUST with vans and help with wages for there budget advisors etc.
  • We provide $500.00 scholarships each year at both Mairehau High and Shirley Boys High for a student who is showing outstanding promise but at this stage may not have achieved much.
  • Linwood Baptist Church who are working with seriously disadvantaged people, doing counseling, budgeting and support where other agency's are involved, like DSW.
  • We support the community drug rehabilitation arm with their vehicle and other needs.
  • Pathway Trust with a 12 seater coach. Our Pathway Trust works with prisoners and provides them with accommodation also assisting them to acquire employment. This vehicle is to bring them from Motukara into town for work each day.
  • Parenting With Confidence for running Parenting Seminars in Canterbury, I also provide them with mentoring and council.
  • Cross Road Youth with a Future (Richard Starling) Richard works in Aranui with the under privileged trying to get them into work and out of crime. I am also Richards mentor. We fund the lunch time meals once a week at Richmond Primary school, an initiative we and Annie the headmistress started 3 years ago as some of the kids were coming to school with no breakfast.
  • We provide financial assistance to Shirley Community Trust to help them provide a Friday night meal for the less fortunate in this area.
  • Waltham Youth Trust we provide transport and wages for youth workers who run a drop in centre and weekly programmes and training for youth to help break bad habits of drugs abuse and unemployment and worthwhile follow up with both the kids and Parents.

We are very patriotic NZ' ers and love being in business in Canterbury, hopefully being able to put something back to make Canterbury better tomorrow.

We call them "Moments of Truth" having identified what we believe are critical elements to anyone doing business with us. They are:

  • Being greeted with respect no matter how busy we are, and never humiliated.
  • Our receptionist should always answer the phone promptly and do whatever we can to solve your problem.
  • Personal appearance/presentation of our staff is checked every day including displaying name badges on the lapel and desk. So you will know who you are dealing with.
  • Receptionist answering phone with very strict procedures. Again so you know who you are dealing with and what you can expect.
  • Attitude of all staff is monitored and rewarded.
  • Dealing with complaints, we assume the client is right and even if they are not, apologize for any part we may have had in a misunderstanding.
  • Time to reply, and delivery of service should always be explained and adhered to. This way you can rely on us.

To help us maintain these standards we employ mystery shopper's and run incentive programmes as and when required.
